About The Library

Library mission, profile, and reading environment

Nugaal University Library is spread over 15 feet wide by 10 feet long with seating capacity for 55 persons and a separate reading hall attached with the library.

Nugaal University Library

The library serves Nugaal University students as well as other regional university students, high school learners, researchers, and other individuals who use it.

It operates as an open access system, allowing users to directly access shelves without restriction. The reading room is arranged near the shelves to support ease of search and use of books.

Admission and Access

The library is available to registered students, staff, regional university students, high school learners, researchers, and approved readers.

  • Students receive a library card through the admissions office.
  • Lost cards should be reported immediately for replacement.
  • University or staff ID must be shown to security on entry.

Discipline and Conduct

The library is a place of individual study, so the atmosphere should remain quiet, respectful, and academically focused.

  • Total silence must be observed in the library and its surroundings.
  • Phones and sound devices must be kept silent and not used for calls.
  • Food, drinks, smoking, sleeping, and moving equipment without permission are prohibited.
  • Group discussion is only allowed in the designated discussion room.

Borrowing and Care of Materials

Library materials are a shared academic resource, so students are responsible for handling them properly and returning them on time.

  • Borrowers must be registered students in the current term.
  • Books may not be borrowed on behalf of other students.
  • Reference books, laptops, newspapers, journals, and magazines are for in-library use only.
  • Lost or damaged books must be replaced or paid for according to library rules.

Library Use

Readers, students, staff, and researchers

The library is available to all registered students of the university, all teachers and other staff in the university, other regional university students and high schools, researchers, and students of other institutes.

  • All users are required to show university or staff IDs to the security officer upon entrance.
  • All users must observe silence in the library and its environs at all times.
  • All bags, cases, and folders must be left in the luggage area outside the library.

Important user notices

  • Readers should not replace books back on the shelves after use.
  • Foods and drinks should not be taken into the library.
  • Do not write, underline, or mark any book or library material.
  • Users who disregard the rules may be suspended or excluded from use of the library.
