The Nugaal University Scholarship Program was developed in 2020 with the aim of providing access to higher education for underprivileged and talented students in the local community. The scholarship is open to academically qualified candidates, aged 18–25, from low-income families in the local community. Candidates must be single and cannot have any family members who have previously received a scholarship from Nugaal University.
Nugaal University offers both full scholarships that cover the full tuition fee, as well as partial scholarships that cover half the tuition fee.
The selection process involves an application, academic filtration, review of the candidate’s family background, and a face-to-face interview. Scholarships are awarded based on socioeconomic status, communication and critical skills, personality and attitude, and the candidate’s personal statement.
Applicants must submit certified copies of documents such as death certificates of parents, statements of monthly family income, utility bills, and photos of the candidate’s home.
No, scholarship recipients are not allowed to change their approved academic program before or after registration at Nugaal University.
Students who withdraw must reimburse the university for the costs incurred during their study period. Failure to do so may result in legal action.
