Hamdi Y. Mohamed
Hamdi Yusuf Mohamed is a the esteemed Head of Examination & Quality assurance at Nugaal University, she is a dedicated public health professional and educator with a strong background in teaching, community engagement, and health research. She holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Lincoln, Malaysia, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from East Africa University.
Hamdi has gained valuable experience working as an Instructor at Vision College and Citizen College, where she developed educational materials, supervised students, and fostered a safe and engaging learning environment. Her passion for education is reflected in her commitment to inspiring students through innovative teaching methods and continuous academic support.
In addition to her teaching career, she has contributed to public health initiatives, including her role as a Mobiliser in the Puntland KVP and IBBS Program. In this capacity, she engaged communities, conducted awareness campaigns, and supported data collection efforts aimed at improving HIV/AIDS prevention and care programs. She has also worked with organizations such as World Vision, where she participated in data collection and program support within the protection and education sectors.
Hamdi is known for her strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, as well as her ability to work effectively under pressure. Her multidisciplinary background, combining public health, education, and community service, demonstrates her commitment to improving lives and contributing positively to society.
