Bashir Ahmed Mohamed is the esteemed dean of the faculty of Agriculture & Animal Science, he is a dedicated academic and agricultural professional with extensive experience in teaching, research, and community development. He holds a master’s degree in Agro-business and Value Chain Management from Nugaal University and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and environmental science from Amoud University. Since 2014, Bashir has been a lecturer at Nugaal University, where he teaches courses in agriculture and animal science.
Dr. Jama Ahmed Dualeh is a dedicated veterinary professional and lecturer with a strong academic and practical background in animal science and agriculture. He holds a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine from Buroa University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Agribusiness and Value Chain Management at Haramaya University. Since 2016, Dr. Dualeh has been a lecturer at Nugaal University, where he teaches animal science and agriculture.
Hassan Hersi Farah is a highly experienced professional with over 26 years of expertise in environmental science, agriculture, and natural resources management. He holds triple master’s degrees in environmental science, Agribusiness Value Chain Management, and Global Studies and International Relations. Currently, Hassan serves as a lecturer at Nugaal University, where he teaches courses in agricultural marketing, environmental science, and natural resources management.
Mohamed Suleiman Ali is a dedicated professional with extensive expertise in agriculture, environmental sciences, and climate change. He holds a Master’s in Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability (completed July 2025) and a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Animal Science from Nugaal University. Since 2017, Mohamed has been the Founder and Executive Director of Deegaan Cagaarshe, an organization focused on environmental conservation and sustainable agricultural practices. He also serves as a Senior Lecturer at Nugaal University, where he teaches, conducts research, and mentors students.
Dr. Ilyas Abdi Awke is a highly skilled veterinary professional and academic with a master’s degree in international Infectious Disease Management from Makerere University and a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Buroa. Currently, he serves as a lecturer at Nugaal University, where he teaches veterinary medicine, conducts research, and mentors students.
