Milestones that shaped Nugaal University
Nugaal serves 750+ current students and has produced 969 degree and 1,229 diploma graduates across nine faculties and three campuses.
The University Library grows beyond 35,000+ volumes, expanding research and learning resources for students and faculty.
The university introduced graduate programs in collaboration with international universities, including MSc in Human Nutrition (with JIMMA University) and MBA (with Haramaya University).
NU expanded its global network by forming partnerships with institutions such as RUFORUM, NUFFIC, and various universities in Sudan, Turkey, and Finland, enhancing research and academic opportunities.
Approximately 50% of NU students benefit from scholarships each year, advancing access and equity for learners from diverse backgrounds.
Beginning of annual graduating classes at NU, the University counts 18 batches since 2009.
Nugaal University is constituted on 14 September 2004 and receives its official charter the same year, with a mission to deliver high-quality education and research.
